Description
Hillyard Tack-It is a special
water-based formulation
designed for tacking between
coats of wood seals and
finishes. Tack-It removes
dust and dirt that may have
settled on the floor and
ensures a clean surface for
coating to bond with. It
leaves no greasy or oily
residue to destroy gloss and
promotes proper adhesion
between coats. Tack-It is
extremely versatile. It can
be used successfully with
both solvent and water-based
seals and finishes. Plus,
Tack-It dries in only 30
minutes under normal
conditions so you can begin
applying seals or finishes
almost immediately. It is the
perfect tacking formula for
areas with stringent VOC
standards. Note: Do not use
to tack raw wood or membrane
curing compounds or for
cleaning equipment. Unlike
many solvent-based products,
Tack-It emits no harsh,
irritating fumes that can
make finishing a wood floor
difficult and unpleasant.
